On Saturday, 15th August, we held an Open Day
with the aim of attracting new members.
This was the most successful one we have held and in excess
of 30 new members were enrolled.
We would like to thank all of you who contributed
to this success by distributing leaflets to houses in your neighbourhood

SeniorNet REGIONAL MEETING


This is a Reminder that there will be

SeniorNet Regional Meeting

on 15th September

at Taradale Town Hall.

The meeting will begin at
10.00am and finish at about 4.00pm

SeniorNet members from Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
as well as our own members are invited
and our guests will be
Grant Sidaway and
Selwyn Jepson
from the SeniorNet Federation.

Morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided.
The morning session will consist of
a training module specially designed
for Seniors teaching Seniors
The afternoon session
will consist of presentations
of Skype and Voice Recognition.

We need to know how many will be coming
by Friday, 4th September,

Obituary

 

VICKI JOHNSTON 7th December 1928 - 26th August 2009 We have learned with sorrow that Vicki died in the early hours of Wednesday morning and that her funeral will be held this coming Saturday. Vicki, along with her late husband Johnny, was one of our founding members and was a dedicated member of our Committee for many years until her death. In 2007 she was awarded Life Membership of SeniorNet Napier She performed the Official Opening of our New Learning Centre last year. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
